Terms of service

Template terms for operators. Have them reviewed by qualified counsel for your jurisdiction before launch.

1. The service

DonutDuel is an independent community platform for player-versus-player games and trading using DonutSMP items held on the platform. It is not affiliated with DonutSMP, Mojang or Microsoft.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally permitted to participate in games of chance involving items with value in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with local laws and with the rules of DonutSMP and the Minecraft EULA.

3. Items and values

Items on DonutDuel are tracked in our ledger after a verified deposit. Displayed values are reference estimates based on market data; they are not offers to buy, guaranteed cash values or guaranteed resale prices.

4. Games and fees

Game outcomes are generated by the provably fair process described on the Fairness page. Fees are disclosed before you join and are only collected from settled games. You may lose the items you stake.

5. Deposits and withdrawals

Deposits are credited only after verification. Withdrawals are delivered to your verified Minecraft account and complete only when the transfer is confirmed. We may delay or reject transfers that appear fraudulent or that breach these terms.

6. Conduct and enforcement

Breaching the rules can lead to warnings, mutes, trading locks, suspension, and reversal of trades obtained through abuse. Enforcement actions are logged.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses from game outcomes, in-game events outside our control, or third-party service outages.
